Advocate.
Creative.
Visionary.
Hi, Iām Rachel Singley, the founder and creative force behind Young Gifted Fab. My work is rooted in the belief that design is more than what you see on the surface. It is about storytelling, creating atmosphere, and shaping experiences that feel personal, intentional, and unforgettable.
My Journey
Before stepping into the world of design, my path looked very different. I spent years immersed in academia while pursuing a PhD in Health Policy at UNC Chapel Hill. In the middle of long research hours and constant deadlines, I realized I was losing myself. Prioritizing my mental health meant making the difficult decision to step away from the program.
What felt like an ending was really a beginning. In that space, I reconnected with what has always inspired me: creativity, advocacy, and the power of aesthetics to influence how we feel and interact with the world. I had already been deeply invested in maternal health advocacy, and I carried that same energy into the work I do now. Design became my way of blending advocacy with artistry, creating pieces that not only look beautiful but also carry meaning.
Young Gifted Fab
Young Gifted Fab is more than a design studio. It is a passion project, a love letter to creativity, and a platform for curating vibes that feel both luxurious and deeply human. Whether it is an editorial-style zine, branded event collateral, or an interior refresh that turns a house into a sanctuary, my work is about more than style. It is about identity, culture, and joy.
At YGF, I focus on crafting experiences that are polished yet approachable, chic yet soulful. Every design is an invitation to step into a story that reflects the people and purpose behind it.
My Design Philosophy
For me, design is storytelling. It is the way a color palette can make you feel calm and grounded, or how a font can instantly communicate power and playfulness. Every choice, from layout to texture to flow, becomes part of a larger narrative.
I believe in creating work that transcends trends and leans into timelessness. My goal is to design pieces that do not just look good today but still feel fresh, intentional, and relevant years from now. Chic. Elevated. Rooted in authenticity.
The Heart of It All
At the end of the day, I see design as a form of advocacy. It is about creating space for people and stories that deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered. That is why I pour my whole heart into every project, because your vision deserves to be more than just executed. It deserves to be experienced.
Welcome to Young Gifted Fab. I am so glad you are here.
